Vijay Deverakonda And Tharun Bhascker Reunite: Pelli Choopulu Duo Returns with ‘Binami’

The much-loved combination of Pelli Choopulu is all set to return, delighting fans who have long awaited their next project. Vijay Deverakonda and Tharun Bhascker, who became household names after the 2016 hit, are now collaborating again on a new film titled Binami. This fresh venture will be produced under the prestigious Geetha Arts banner, known for backing several successful Telugu films.

Geetha Arts Backs the Reunion

Producers Allu Aravind and Bunny Vaas will bankroll the film under GA2 Pictures, a branch of Geetha Arts. The duo had earlier signed this collaboration with Vijay and Tharun, but scheduling conflicts kept pushing it back. With both the actor and director finally making space in their calendars, the project is now gaining momentum.

Geetha Arts previously scored big with Geetha Govindam, another Vijay-starrer that remains the highest-grossing film of his career. Banking on that past success, the production team hopes Binami will replicate the same winning formula.

Clearing the Path for Binami

Tharun Bhascker has stayed busy in recent times, juggling his work in front of and behind the camera. He also crafted the script for Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi 2, though it had to be put on pause due to lead actor Vishwak Sen’s scheduling issues. With that on hold, Tharun is now prioritizing Binami.

Vijay Deverakonda, on the other hand, is immersed in promotions for his upcoming action film Kingdom, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri and slated for release on May 30. The film’s first song, “Hridayam Lopala,” has already resonated with music lovers. Once Kingdom hits theaters, Vijay will focus on wrapping up Rowdy Janardhan (with Dil Raju) and a yet-to-be-titled project with director Rahul Sankrityan under Mythri Movie Makers. After completing these commitments, he will step into the world of Binami.

Audiences who appreciated the natural charm and relatability of Pelli Choopulu now have something exciting to look forward to. Binami is expected to combine Tharun’s distinctive storytelling with Vijay’s magnetic screen presence.
