Upendra’s latest venture, UiTheMovie, unveiled a groundbreaking first-look teaser that transports viewers into a mesmerizing fantasy realm. The Kannada Superstar, renowned for his distinctive storytelling, directed and brought his creative vision to life in this film, which is produced by Lahari Films, G Manoharan, and Venus Entertainers. Co-producers KP Sreekanth and Naveen Manoharan added their touch to this cinematic spectacle.
The first-of-its-kind teaser left everyone in awe, and it was unveiled with much excitement at an event graced by ace producer Allu Aravind.
Opening with Upendra’s compelling voice asking, “It’s darkness everywhere. How do you escape from it?” the teaser immerses the audience in an incredible universe. The sequences are meticulously crafted, building anticipation for the film. The grand finale features Upendra making a heroic entrance atop a bull, providing a glimpse into the powerful character he portrays. The teaser promises a visual extravaganza with world-class VFX, captivating music, and grand visuals, delivering an entirely new cinematic experience.
An interesting note shared by the makers revealed that a significant part of the film was shot on a virtual reality pipeline, utilizing Industrial Light & Magic’s (ILM) cutting-edge creation technology. Remarkably, nearly 90% of the film involves intricate VFX work, spread across four different studios.
The film’s music, composed by Ajaneesh B Loknath (known for Kantara), complements the stellar cast, including Reeshma Nanaiah in the lead role, along with Nidhi Subbaiah, Murali Sharma, and P Ravi Shankar in prominent roles. The film boasts top-notch talent in other key areas, with Art Direction by Shiva Kumar J (famed for KGF1&2), Cinematography by HC Venugopal (known for A & H2O), and VFX supervision by Nirmal Kumar (recognized for Vikrant Rona).
