The bond between Peddi stars Ram Charan and Shiva Rajkumar has clearly gone beyond the screen. During a special Kannada interview featuring Ram Charan, Shiva Rajkumar, and Janhvi Kapoor, the veteran Kannada superstar made an emotional statement that touched fans deeply.
Shiva Rajkumar revealed that whenever he sees Ram Charan, he is reminded of his late brother, the beloved actor Puneeth Rajkumar, fondly called Appu by fans.
“Whenever I see Charan, I feel like I’m seeing Appu again. While shooting many scenes of Peddi, I could sense my brother in him. It became an emotional connection for me, and I will never forget it,” said Shiva Rajkumar.
He also thanked producer Venkata Satish Kilaru and director Buchi Babu Sana for bringing them together through the film.
The heartfelt comment has already struck an emotional chord with fans of both stars. Peddi features a strong ensemble cast including Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu Sharma, Boman Irani, and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles.
Backed by Vriddhi Cinemas, the much-awaited pan-Indian entertainer is slated for a grand theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
