‘Satyabhama’, starring Kajal Aggarwal in the lead, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
The film features Naveen Chandra as Satyabhama’s husband. Directed by Suman Chikkala, the crime thriller is produced by Sashi Kiran Tikka, Bobby Tikka, and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelli.
The story is set in the heart of Hyderabad. ACP Satyabhama pursues the mystery behind the murder of a young woman.
While some critics lauded ‘Satyabhama’ as a layered thriller, others called it convoluted. “Even as Kajal Aggarwal delivers a stellar performance, it’s the well-paced and emotionally complex narrative that’s the real hero of the film,” the New Indian Express opined.
The makers, announcing the arrival of the film on OTT, today said that their film enjoys an IMDb rating of 8.6, thanks to its “thrilling investigation track and the women empowerment message”.
Sricharan Pakala and Vishnu Besi are its music director and cinematographer, respectively.
