Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam to Begin After Dragon, Confirms Prashanth Neel

The recently released glimpse of Dragon has taken social media by storm, receiving a phenomenal response from fans and racing towards 100 million digital views. With the film already generating massive hype, director Prashanth Neel has officially kickstarted the promotional campaign through a series of media interactions.

In a recent conversation with Variety, Neel opened up about the much-awaited project starring Jr NTR and also dropped an exciting update regarding Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, leaving fans of Prabhas thrilled.

The filmmaker clarified that his complete attention is currently on Dragon. However, he confirmed that Salaar 2 will be his immediate next venture once Dragon is wrapped up, effectively putting an end to speculation surrounding the sequel’s delay.

Neel also addressed the status of K.G.F: Chapter 3 and stated that the project is not moving forward anytime soon. According to him, both he and Yash are tied up with multiple commitments over the next few years, making it difficult for KGF 3 to begin in the near future.

Dragon is currently scheduled for a grand theatrical release on June 11, 2027. Meanwhile, Prabhas is expected to complete work on Spirit, which is eyeing a March 5, 2027 release. Industry circles now expect Prabhas and Prashanth Neel to reunite for Salaar 2 sometime in mid-2027, with the high-budget sequel likely targeting a massive 2028 release.

The much-awaited sequel will once again be produced by Hombale Films, raising expectations for another action-packed cinematic spectacle.
