Sai Dharam Tej was in Vijayawada on Wednesday. As soon as he stepped into the town, he had a darshan at the Kanaka Durgamma Temple. He then proceeded to an orphanage that runs on donations from philanthropists. He donated Rs 5 lakh there.
Later on, the ‘Virupaksha’ actor called on Nara Lokesh. “Met the Hon’ble Minister of AP, Lokesh anna, today to hand over a cheque of Rs 10 lakhs as a contribution to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for flood relief in our Andhra Pradesh. Thanks for your warm reception, dear Lokesh Anna,” wrote the ‘Republic’ actor on Twitter aka X. “I appreciate your generous contribution to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Sai Dharam Tej. Together, we will ensure our brothers and sisters affected by the floods get the support they need. Thank you,” the Minister wrote, quote-tweeting him.
Recently, Sai Dharam Tej donated another Rs 10 lakh to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The actor’s next film is a period mystery thriller directed by Rohit KP and produced by the Niranjan Reddy-Chaitanya Reddy duo. ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ fame actress Aishwarya Lekshmi is its female lead.
