On the festive occasion of Ram Navami, the makers of Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi released a powerful teaser titled Peddi First Shot. This high-voltage one-minute glimpse instantly grabbed attention with its stunning visuals. The teaser also confirmed the film’s theatrical release date as March 27, 2026. The team launched the teaser in all South Indian languages and Hindi, turning it into a pan-Indian event.
Teaser Highlights: Ram Charan’s Bold Avatar and Powerful Dialogue
The teaser opens with Ram Charan walking into a dusty field as a roaring crowd cheers him on. He lights a beedi and confidently says, “I have only one life to live, and I want to make the most of it.” Charan’s gritty rural look and his commanding screen presence create a strong impact. The teaser ends with a symbolic and thrilling moment—Charan smashes a cricket ball clean out of the stadium, delivering a stunning sixer. Fans began comparing this epic shot to Dhoni’s helicopter shot and de Villiers’ style.
Buchi Babu Sana Delivers a Mass Entertainer with Global Appeal
Director Buchi Babu Sana, who made a strong debut with Uppena, now presents Peddi with an even bigger cinematic vision. While Uppena focused on emotional storytelling, Peddi blends rural action, sports, and comedy. The teaser clearly shows Buchi Babu’s grand scale and confident storytelling style. He aims to craft a rural story with global appeal.

The film features a solid ensemble cast. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead and shares screen space with Ram Charan for the first time. Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu also play important roles. Peddi marks Divyendu Sharma’s Telugu debut and Janhvi’s second Telugu film after Devara Part 1.
Oscar-winner AR Rahman composes the music. R Rathnavelu handles the cinematography. Navin Nooli takes charge of editing, while Avinash Kolla manages production design. This experienced technical crew promises top-notch quality.

Ram Charan’s Comeback After Game Changer
Peddi comes after Ram Charan’s previous film Game Changer, directed by S Shankar. Though that film starred Kiara Advani and SJ Suryah, it failed to meet expectations at the box office. With Peddi, Ram Charan now aims to bounce back stronger, and fans are excited to see what he delivers next.
