Young Telugu film producer S. Naga Vamsi, who leads Sithara Entertainments, made headlines by donating Rs 25 lakh to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). During the Mahanadu 2025 celebrations in Kadapa, TDP Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu announced this contribution on stage.
On Tuesday, March 27, the first day of Mahanadu, TDP leaders and supporters responded to Chandrababu’s appeal and raised Rs 22.53 crore in a single day. Chandrababu urged party members to fund the event themselves. He clearly stated that they would use the collected money not just for party expenses but also to support the poor and reward the efforts of dedicated party workers.
Naga Vamsi, though not politically active in Andhra Pradesh, maintains strong personal ties with many TDP leaders. He also shares a close relationship with Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, whose Janasena Party has now formed an alliance with TDP. Through these connections, Naga Vamsi continues to show silent yet powerful involvement in political circles.
Massive Support from TDP Leaders and Supporters
At the event, Chandrababu Naidu read out the list of contributors and thanked each one personally. Major donors included TDP MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy (Rs 5 crore), Minister Narayana (Rs 1 crore), and Sana Satish (Rs 1.16 crore). Alongside them, Naga Vamsi stood out with his Rs 25 lakh donation, joining the ranks of other prominent supporters like GV Anjaneyulu, Srinivas Chinni, Damacharla Janardhan, and Raj Gopal of SRC Infrastructure.
Ministers, businessmen, and industrialists also came forward and donated amounts between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50 lakh. TDP leaders advised all contributors to make online bank transfers to the party’s official account to ensure complete transparency and convenience.
Naga Vamsi Actively Produces Big Films
Even as Naga Vamsi contributes to political causes, he continues to stay busy in the film industry. He is producing “Kingdom” featuring Vijay Deverakonda, “Anaganaga Oka Raju” starring Naveen Polishetty, and an untitled film with Suriya, directed by Venky Atluri. He also plans to produce NTR’s upcoming movie, which Nelson will direct. The team aims to start shooting the project next year.
With his active involvement in both cinema and public affairs, Naga Vamsi stands out as a rising force in Telugu cinema and as a quiet supporter of social and political development.
