Pawan Kalyan Finishes ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ Shoot, Massive Trailer Set to Drop Soon

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Telugu cinema icon Pawan Kalyan has officially completed filming his long-awaited period action film Hari Hara Veera Mallu. He wrapped up the film’s final schedule on a specially built set in Hyderabad, bringing to a close a production journey that faced several delays due to his political responsibilities.

The movie’s team confirmed the news through the film’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle. They posted, “Powerstar @PawanKalyan Garu finishes shooting for #HariHaraVeeraMallu. The shoot wraps with a bang, and what’s coming next will set screens on fire!” The makers have now promised to unveil a massive trailer and blockbuster songs soon.

A Delayed Yet Grand Finale to Shooting

The team conducted the final shoot over two days, during which Pawan Kalyan returned to the set despite his demanding political schedule. Director A. M. Jyothi Krishna had already announced on X that the actor would rejoin the team for the last leg of the shoot. With this final schedule completed, the team has officially kicked off post-production work.

The crew is also expected to hold a traditional “pumpkin-breaking” ceremony to celebrate the shoot’s end—a customary practice followed on many Telugu film sets.

What to Expect from Hari Hara Veera Mallu

Set in the 17th-century Mughal Empire, directors Krish Jagarlamudi and A. M. Jyothi Krishna have crafted an intense mix of historical drama, patriotic storytelling, and high-octane action. Pawan Kalyan takes on the lead role, with Nidhhi Agerwal playing the female lead. Bobby Deol, Nassar, and others round out the strong supporting cast.

Producer A. Dayakar Rao has backed the project under the Mega Surya Production banner. M. M. Keeravaani, the Oscar-winning composer, scored the film’s music. One standout track, ‘Maata Vinali’ in Telugu, features vocals sung by Pawan Kalyan himself. The team also used AI to replicate his voice in other languages, offering a unique multi-lingual experience for fans.

New Release Window and Future Projects

Although the team originally aimed to release the movie on May 9, they postponed it several times. Industry insiders now expect Hari Hara Veera Mallu to hit theatres sometime between mid-June and the end of June, though the makers have not confirmed this officially. This window may turn competitive, with Kubera, Kannappa, and Thammudu already announcing their release dates.

With this project now behind him, Pawan Kalyan is likely to resume work on his next film, OG, which also faced delays.
