Pawan Kalyan’s Producers Meeting: Final Film Shoot Plans Revealed, OG Release Set for September

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, now deeply involved in Andhra Pradesh politics as the Deputy Chief Minister, recently met with the producers of his pending films. He called this meeting to address the delays caused by his packed political schedule and ongoing back pain. In addition, he has been taking care of his son Mark Shankar, who is recovering from an injury in Singapore.

Final Decisions on Pending Films

In the meeting, Pawan Kalyan assured the producers that he will complete all three of his delayed films—Hari Hara Veera Mallu, OG, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh—within this year. He confirmed that he will begin shooting Hari Hara Veera Mallu first. Since only a week of shoot remains, he plans to finish it in early May. He aims to release the film by the last week of May or early June.

OG Release Date Confirmed

Pawan Kalyan also committed to completing the shoot for OG in July, using 20-day schedules. He promised producer DVV Danayya that he will make himself available to wrap up the film. The team has now fixed September 5, 2025, as the release date.

Sujeeth directs OG, with Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead and Emraan Hashmi playing the villain. Thaman is composing the music, and DVV Entertainments is producing the film.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh Will Be His Last Film—for Now

Pawan Kalyan told Mythri Movie Makers that he will give bulk dates starting in July to complete Ustaad Bhagat Singh. He clarified that this project will be his final film for now, as he plans to focus completely on his political responsibilities afterward.

Producers Finally Relieved

The actor’s clear plan has brought much-needed relief to the film units. All three production teams have now begun working on their post-production schedules. If everything moves as planned, Pawan Kalyan will deliver two major releases within just four months—a rare achievement even for a top-tier star.
