The production house backing Robinhood is the same as Pushpa 2: The Rule, featuring Allu Arjun, which is also set for release this December. While Pushpa 2 will arrive earlier on December 5, 2024, the team is juggling promotional activities for both films.

The teaser introduces Nithiin’s character as a clever thief with an unconventional ideology. He calls the citizens his family and the wealthy his siblings but justifies taking their money when necessary. This intriguing premise has already piqued audience interest, although more details about the story remain undisclosed.

Why Rashmika Was Replaced by Sreeleela
The film also faced questions regarding the replacement of Rashmika Mandanna with Sreeleela as the female lead. Venky Kudumula clarified that Rashmika initially agreed to the role but later encountered scheduling conflicts due to Pushpa 2 and her Hindi projects. The team collectively decided to cast Sreeleela instead, ensuring a smoother production process. Kudumula confirmed that Rashmika has no involvement in the film, ruling out any special appearances.
