Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty recently shared fresh updates on the much-awaited war-period drama Fauji, which stars Prabhas in the lead role. Mithun confirmed that he will soon return to the shoot after recovering from a hand injury. He revealed that he fractured his hand just before the film’s official photoshoot. Despite the injury, he took painkillers, got his hand treated, and completed the photoshoot. He then went for surgery the following day.

Prabhas and the film’s production team advised Mithun to rest properly and focus on healing before resuming work. Mithun felt deeply touched by their care and said Prabhas personally told him, “Health comes first.” This exchange highlights the respectful and thoughtful environment on the film’s set, even during such a massive project.

Mithun Completes Scenes With Jayapradha, To Shoot With Prabhas Soon

Mithun also revealed that he has already completed scenes with iconic actress Jayapradha, who plays a key role in the film. However, he has not yet filmed any scenes with Prabhas. He confirmed that he will shoot his portions with the star in the upcoming weeks.

Fauji Boasts Rs 700 Cr Budget and a Star-Studded Cast

Director Hanu Raghavapudi, best known for Sita Ramam, is leading the project. Mythri Movie Makers are producing Fauji on a massive Rs 700 crore budget, making it one of the most expensive films in Prabhas’s career. The film promises a grand cinematic experience.

Fauji also introduces Imanvi Ismail as the female lead, opposite Prabhas. Veteran actor Anupam Kher joins the cast in a strong supporting role. Vishal Chandrasekhar is handling the music, adding further richness to the film’s scale.

Prabhas Balances Multiple Big-Budget Films

Alongside Fauji, Prabhas continues to work on major projects such as Spirit, The Raja Saab, and Kannappa. He also plans to start work on sequels to his blockbuster films Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD.

With such an impressive lineup and production value, Fauji is shaping up to be one of the biggest films in Indian cinema.
