LGM(Let’s Get Married) Movie review

MS Dhoni and his wife ventured into the movie making business with LGM Movie. “LGM – Let’s Get Married,” starring Harish Kalyan (from Nani’s “Jersey”), Ivana (from “Love Today”), and Nadiya, is their debut film as producers.

It’s a rom-com that attempts to be a family film. On paper, the storyline of the film looks to be intriguing. The narration, on the other hand, is not.

“LGM” tells the story of a girl who wants to get close to her prospective mother-in-law by spending a few days with her to see whether they get along. The girl will only marry her lover if she gets along with his mother. What is her prospective mother-in-law’s opinion on this? How does the boyfriend cope with his girlfriend and his mother in these circumstances?

In a basic performance, Harish Kalyan portrays the boyfriend. He plays quietly and without any intensity. Ivana is the boyfriend’s girlfriend. Her vivacious performance in “Love Today” made everyone sit up and take attention. Only at the end of the film does she shine. Nadiya, the hero’s mother and the heroine’s prospective mother-in-law, attempts to liven things up.

Ramesh Tamilamani, who authored the plot, screenplay, dialogues (in Tamil), and music, appears to be a master of none. Both his storyline and directing are poor.

The post-interval moments of Nadiya and Ivana are among the best.
