Korean Kanakaraju OTT Release Date: Varun Tej’s Horror Comedy Arrives on Netflix

Varun Tej’s comeback success is now heading to OTT! After struggling with a series of box-office disappointments, the actor finally found success with Korean Kanakaraju. Now, the horror comedy is all set to make its digital debut on Netflix.

Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, Korean Kanakaraju features Varun Tej in a quirky role as a man possessed by the spirit of a Korean gangster. The film blends horror and comedy, with the first half particularly leaning heavily on humour.

One of the major highlights of the movie is Satya’s comedy, with his timing and entertaining dialogues adding plenty of fun to the proceedings. The film’s unusual storyline and comic treatment also helped it stand apart from Varun Tej’s recent outings.

Korean Kanakaraju OTT Release Date

The OTT rights of Korean Kanakaraju were acquired by Netflix well ahead of its digital premiere. According to the agreement, the film is scheduled to arrive on the streaming platform four weeks after its theatrical release.

As a result, Korean Kanakaraju will start streaming on Netflix from September 4.

The film is produced jointly by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, while Ritika Nayak plays the female lead. Thaman has composed the music for the horror comedy.

With its theatrical run helping Varun Tej break his recent streak of setbacks, all eyes are now on the film’s OTT journey. It remains to be seen whether Korean Kanakaraju can generate the same buzz and entertainment among Netflix audiences.
