The promotions of Prabhas’ ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will be solidified with the release of its Trailer on June 10. Vyjayanthi Movies, announcing the Trailer date, infused a cryptic political message.
Here is what they wrote: “𝐀 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐒! Everything is about to change.” While the theme of the ushering in of a new world is crucial to ‘Kalki’, knowing the political affiliations of producer C Aswini Dutt, you know the hidden message. The poster is talking about the tectonic change in Andhra Pradesh politics. Had the YCP won the election, the poster would have talked about something else for sure.
Produced also by Swapna Dutt Chalasani, and Priyanka Dutt Chalasani, the film is touted to be unconventional and visually spectacular. Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani will be seen in key roles in this June 27th release.
