Jr NTR’s Devara 2 to Go on Floors in May 2026: Release Planned for 2027

Jr NTR’s Devara, which hit screens last year, turned out to be a massive treat for fans. Right from the film’s climax, director Koratala Siva made it clear that the story would continue with a sequel. While recent speculation suggested that Devara 2 might have been shelved, those rumours have now been put to rest.

Producer Sudhakar Mikkilineni of Yuvasudha Arts has officially confirmed that Devara 2 will begin its shooting in May 2026, with a theatrical release expected in 2027. He revealed this update during an event held last night at Bathukamma Kunta in Jangaon.

The announcement has reignited excitement among fans of Jr NTR, who were eagerly awaiting clarity on the sequel. With Devara 2 officially back on track, the actor now has an impressive lineup of four major projects the NTR–Neel film, a mythological venture with Trivikram Srinivas, a project with Nelson Dilipkumar, and the Devara sequel.

Given this packed slate, Jr NTR is set to remain one of the busiest stars in Indian cinema, with back-to-back releases likely stretching until 2028. Fans can expect plenty of big updates in the coming months.
