Happy Ending Telugu Funda Review

Happy Ending Telugu Funda Review

Yash Puri, Apoorva Rao, Ajay Ghosh, Vishnu Oi, Jhansi, and Anita Chowdhary Film ‘HAPPY ENDING?’ directed by Kowshik Bheemidi promises an engaging cinematic experience. Backed by producers Yogesh Kumar, Sanjay Reddy, and Anil Pallala, the movie brings together a talented team to create a compelling narrative. With music by Ravi Madarthy setting the tone, the cinematography by Ashok Seepally captures the visual essence, and editing by Pradeep R Moram adds finesse to the storytelling. This collaboration of creative minds hints at a promising cinematic endeavor that is sure to captivate audiences. Let’s see how the movie fared among the anticipation.

Plot:

In his childhood, Harsh (Yash Puri) incurs a curse from a godman after accidentally revealing the true nature of the latter. According to the curse, anyone physically close to Harsh or even the subject of his romantic thoughts will meet their demise. The plot thickens when Harsh encounters Avani (Apoorva Rao), a yoga instructor, and they quickly develop feelings for each other. However, Harsh grapples with concerns for Avani’s safety due to the curse. The narrative unfolds the suspenseful tale of whether Harsh manages to overcome the curse and attain his love or succumbs to its ominous effects in “Happy Ending.”

Performances:

Yash Puri delivers a nuanced performance in an attempt to enhance the film, showcasing impressive moments in certain scenes.

Apoorva Rao emerges as a promising talent for the industry, embodying the portrayal of a leading lady striving to establish her unique identity—a commendable concept. Despite “Happy Ending” marking her debut film, Apoorva adeptly delivers her lines and portrays expressions with precision throughout the movie.

Vishnu Oi brings humor to the first half, but unfortunately, this element is notably absent in the latter part of the film. The entire second half becomes a test of patience, making it challenging to endure. The supporting cast, regrettably, has limited involvement in the narrative.

Technical Aspects:

Ravi Madarthy’s music is passable, and Ashok Seepally’s cinematography is satisfactory. The production values meet the expected standards. However, the film tends to feel excessively lengthy, and it would be unfair to place the blame solely on the editing team, as the root cause lies in the writing issues.

Director Kowshik Bheemidi had the potential to significantly enhance the film, considering the promising concept it held. Unfortunately, the execution falls short, resulting in a lackluster outcome. A more skillful approach to writing could have considerably improved the overall quality of the film.

Telugu Funda Analysis:

Happy Ending’s most significant drawback lies in its perplexing narrative. While the chosen plot could have been presented with humor or emotion, it ended up being portrayed in the most tedious manner imaginable. The screenplay lacks coherence, leaving viewers with a sense that the story is stagnant and caught in a loop. Despite Yash Puri’s commendable performance, the audience struggles to connect with his character or empathize with the challenges he faces, all due to lackluster writing.

The female lead accepts the protagonist despite being aware of his curse and concerns, yet Harsh’s character continues to fret without actively seeking resolution. As the plot unfolds, viewers may question the significance of the ongoing drama. Additionally, disjointed scenes and irrelevant dialogues.

Telugu Funda Verdict:

The movie had the potential to either be a thoroughly entertaining comedy or a poignant emotional journey, given its subject matter. Regrettably, it fails to achieve either. Despite commendable performances by the lead pair, the film falls short due to its uninspiring narration, tumultuous second half, and a noticeable absence of emotional depth.
