Balakrishna’s Powerful Return in Akhanda 2, Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to return with Akhanda 2, the much-awaited sequel to his 2021 blockbuster Akhanda. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film is being made on a grand scale with a bigger budget, aiming for a Pan-India release. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the sequel visually and commercially stunning.

Himalayan Shoot for a Breathtaking Introduction Scene

The latest reports reveal that Balakrishna‘s introduction scene will be a breathtaking visual treat. The sequence will feature him performing an Abhishekam to a Shiva Lingam in the Himalayas, showcasing him in his powerful Aghora avatar. Director Boyapati Srinu, along with cinematographer C. Ram Prasad, recently completed a recce in the Himalayas and finalized several breathtaking locations for the shoot. This large-scale schedule is expected to begin in the coming weeks.

Grand Production with Intense Action Sequences

The film’s production is moving swiftly, with several key scenes already filmed. The team previously shot intense action sequences in Vijayawada and Kurnool, where an extravagant set was erected. Additionally, the Akhanda Thaandavam sequence was shot at the Mahakumbh Mela, adding to the film’s grandeur and spiritual essence.

Aadhi Pinisetty’s Fierce Role and Face-Off with Balakrishna

Aadhi Pinisetty has joined the cast in a fierce and unique role, marking his second collaboration with Boyapati Srinu after Sarrainodu. His character is said to bring incredible intensity, making for a thrilling face-off with Balakrishna. The action-packed standoff between the two actors is expected to be one of the film’s highlights.

Star-Studded Cast and Crew

The sequel also stars Samyuktha Menon in a prominent role, with the technical crew featuring S. Thaman as the music composer, Tammiraju as the editor, and A.S. Prakash handling the production design. The film is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, with M. Tejaswini Nandamuri presenting it.
