‘Dear Nanna’ started streaming on Aha in mid-June. The news is that the film, starring Surya Kumar Bhagavandas and Chaitanya Rao Madadi, is going to be available for streaming on another OTT platform.
The Covid-time drama will stream on ETV Win from August 1st.
Our review of the movie was unflattering. ‘Dear Nanna’, as the title might suggest, is a homage to the protagonist’s father, played by a flat-faced Chaitanya Rao. Surya Kumar Bhagavandas portrayed the father, a pharmacist. The father loves his profession and embodies the stereotypical ‘Bommarillu’ father trope, hoping to steer his aspiring chef son into the pharmaceutical business. The film feels like an overlong Public Service Announcement despite its short running time.
