Rukmini Vasanth is all set to add another exciting milestone to her career. The actress, who is currently gearing up for her much-awaited appearance in Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, has officially announced her Malayalam debut.
Taking to Instagram, Rukmini shared a picture of herself holding the film’s clapboard, confirming her association with the upcoming project. Tentatively titled NP51, the film stars Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly in the lead and marks the directorial debut of Nashid Mohamed Famy.
For Rukmini, the project is more than just another film. Describing it as a “very special first,” the actress expressed her happiness about stepping into the Malayalam film industry, which she has admired for a long time. Her announcement has already sparked curiosity among fans, particularly with her sharing the screen with Nivin Pauly.
The film’s pooja ceremony was held last week, officially marking the beginning of the project. While the makers are yet to reveal further details about the storyline and Rukmini’s character, the combination of Rukmini Vasanth, Nivin Pauly and debutant filmmaker Nashid Mohamed Famy has already created interest.
