Ranveer Singh Faces Non-Cooperation Directive From Bollywood Federation

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has landed in fresh controversy after the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) reportedly issued a non-cooperation directive against him. The issue is said to be linked to his exit from Don 3, which was being planned with filmmaker Farhan Akhtar.

According to reports, Ranveer Singh allegedly stepped away from the project just weeks before the scheduled shoot. While the incident reportedly happened some time ago, the matter has once again become a major topic of discussion in Bollywood circles.

FWICE Chief Advisor Ashoke Pandit revealed that the federation received a formal complaint from Farhan Akhtar regarding the actor’s sudden exit from the film. He stated that the federation issued three separate notices to Ranveer Singh over a period of 30 days but allegedly received no response from the actor.

Ashoke Pandit further mentioned that after the federation announced a press conference on the matter, Ranveer Singh finally responded, claiming that the issue did not fall under the federation’s jurisdiction. Following this, FWICE reportedly decided to impose a non-cooperation directive against the actor.

As per the decision, federation members including directors, cameramen, lightmen, spot boys, and other workers have been advised not to collaborate on Ranveer Singh’s future projects. The federation has also urged producers to support their stand.

However, industry insiders believe the move may not significantly affect Ranveer Singh’s career. The actor is currently considered one of Bollywood’s biggest stars and is reportedly enjoying massive demand after delivering a historic blockbuster with the “Dhurandhar” franchise.

Many observers within the industry feel the federation should focus more on pressing concerns such as rising ticket prices, payment-related disputes, and the growing impact of artificial intelligence in cinema, rather than targeting individual actors over project exits.
