Rajamouli Reveals Upcoming Films He’s Most Excited For, Dragon, Spirit, and Peddi

SS Rajamouli, the visionary director behind the global blockbuster RRR, recently shared his excitement for three upcoming Indian films, and fans couldn’t be happier. While promoting the behind-the-scenes documentary RRR: Behind and Beyond in Japan, Rajamouli revealed the movies he personally looks forward to the most. He named Dragon starring Jr. NTR, Spirit featuring Prabhas, and Peddi with Ram Charan as his top picks.

These pan-India projects have already created massive buzz, and Rajamouli’s support has only added to the excitement.

Rajamouli Picks Dragon as His Most Awaited Film

Rajamouli expressed the most excitement for Dragon, an action-packed film starring N.T. Rama Rao Jr. and directed by Prashanth Neel. The team has already started shooting, and Jr. NTR will join the regular schedule on April 22. Known for crafting intense mass entertainers, Neel plans to present NTR in a fresh, powerful role. The makers aim to release Dragon during a major festive season next year.

Prabhas’ Spirit Gears Up for Production

Next on Rajamouli’s list is Spirit, a highly anticipated film starring Prabhas and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Although the team hasn’t started filming, they are actively working on pre-production. After Vanga’s recent success with Animal, fans expect another intense story, especially with Prabhas in the lead.

Ram Charan’s Peddi Builds Momentum

Rajamouli also mentioned Peddi, which stars Ram Charan and comes from Buchi Babu Sana, the director of Uppena. The team recently released a teaser that gave fans a glimpse of Charan’s powerful look. The film is currently in production and the makers have locked March 27 as the release date, aiming for a grand summer opening.

Meanwhile, Rajamouli continues to work on his own ambitious project, SSMB 29, starring Mahesh Babu. The team has already wrapped up schedules in Hyderabad and Odisha, and they are planning an international shooting schedule next. The film also features Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran. With MM Keeravani composing the music and KL Narayana producing, Rajamouli aims to make this a global cinematic event.
