The highly anticipated Bollywood action film ‘Singham Again’ will not be delayed and will continue its scheduled release this Diwali (the last week of October). Despite rumors circulating about a potential postponement, the makers of the film have clarified that ‘Singham Again’ remains on track for its Diwali release. The film will now go head-to-head with another major release, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, another major Bollywood release of the year.
For the past few days, it was rumoured that ‘Singham Again’ would be released on November 15th, upsetting the plans of the makers of Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’. Since ‘Kanguva’ is eyeing November 15th, Studio Green was said to be in a bind. A direct competition between ‘Kanguva’ and ‘Singham Again’ in the Hindi market would have been bad news for the former.
‘Singham Again’, directed by Rohit Shetty, stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff. The film was entirely shot in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kashmir. ‘Kanguva’ is expected to be confirmed for a November 15th release soon.
