Jakes Bejoy born in Kerala, India, Jakes Bejoy’s passion for music ignited at an early age. He pursued formal training in Carnatic music and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology in Cochin. Bejoy went on to attain a master’s degree in Music Science and Technology from Stanford University in the USA.
Bejoy’s debut as a music director for a feature film with the Malayalam film Angels (2014). Since then, he has worked on successful Tamil and Malayalam films, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. He even worked for Taxiwala and Oke okka Jeevitham movies.
While Malayalam cinema remains his primary playground, Bejoy’s talent transcends language barriers. He has lent his musical prowess to Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. Notably, his Telugu debut was with Taxiwala (2018), starring Vijay Devarakonda.
