The sequel to the much-loved DJ Tillu, aptly titled Tillu Square, has hit the silver screens with a resounding bang, much to the delight of audiences worldwide. Starring the dynamic duo of Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran, and helmed by director Mallik Ram, the film has not only lived up to the expectations set by its predecessor but has exceeded them in ways unforeseen.
As the cast and crew gathered for a success meet to commemorate the overwhelming response received by Tillu Square, the air was filled with palpable excitement and gratitude. Director Mallik Ram expressed his elation, stating, “I am very happy with the response. We’ve been getting congratulatory calls all over the world. People are liking the characters, the world, and it’s great to see the glowing reviews.”
Anupama Parameswaran, whose portrayal added depth and dimension to the narrative, shared her sentiments on the journey, saying, “It has been a long journey and a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and I’m happy with the response. I don’t know how to thank my team and audiences enough.” She further expressed her gratitude towards her co-star Neha Shetty, acknowledging her encouragement and support.

Producer S Naga Vamsi, visibly confident in the film’s success, projected a bright future ahead. “I am confident that it’ll touch Rs 100 crore gross, going by the response. It’s a character audiences love getting back to,” he affirmed. With anticipation building, the team is already considering the possibility of a third installment, eager to continue the legacy of Tillu.
Amongst the celebrations, actor Praneeth Reddy and composer Bheems Ceciroleo, along with others present, echoed the sentiments of the audience, expressing their joy at witnessing the overwhelming success of Tillu Square. “We are so glad to hear crowds tell that the second part worked for them better than the first, and it’s a testimony to the effort we have put in,” they shared, encapsulating the collective pride felt by the entire team.
