Sandeep Madhav, starring in Siva Prasad’s self-directed production, Sri Padmini Cinemas production number 3, titled ‘Mahati,’ witnessed a grand opening today with the commencement of pooja activities. Suhasini Mani Ratnam and Deepshikha play significant roles in the film.
Under the sunny skies, Chandramouli clapped for the inaugural scene, while Padma operated the camera. Suhasini Mani Ratnam presented the script to the filmmakers, and the first shot was skillfully directed by Rajaravindra Gaurav.
Speaking at the movie launch event, Suhasini Mani Ratnam expressed, “It has been exactly 43 years since my first film was released today. I’ve been in the industry for 44 years, starting with Mahathi’s movie. I’ve done many films in my career so far, witnessing both successes and failures. Leaving all that in the past, I am now approaching this film with the same enthusiasm as my first. Doing Telugu cinema has become a habit for me. I choose a film only if I resonate with the story and character. I loved Mahati’s story and my character, which involves family emotions and sentiments. The title incorporates strong female-centric elements. To witness a crime and do nothing is a greater offense than committing the crime itself. That is the central theme of this movie. The characters have been beautifully crafted by the director, and we are working with an excellent team. Best wishes to the entire team.”
Sandeep Madhav expressed his excitement, stating, “I was thrilled when I heard the story of Mahati. Director Siva Garu has masterfully shaped this story to be impressive throughout. My character has different shades and is well-designed. It’s a pleasure to share the screen with Suhasini. Rahul, working as DVP for this film, and I collaborated on the movie Vangaveeti, and it’s delightful to work together again. We are creating this film with an exceptional team, and it will undoubtedly entertain the audience.”
