‘Committee Kurrollu’ is arriving on OTT soon. ETV Win will stream it starting September 12th. The digital platform reportedly bought the OTT rights for a banger, considering that the film became a commercial hit at the box-office.
In our review of the Yadhu Vamsi-directed buddy comedy-drama, we described it as fresh and authentic that gets better if watched with friends. “The issue of caste can be accused of tokenism to elevate the good natured protagonists. Because, the statements of caste are what we usually expect from a commercial Telugu cinema: the message-mongering for a casteless society and cashless elections,” we opined.
‘Committee Kurrollu’ is produced by Niharika Konidela on Pink Elephant Pictures. Sandeep Saroj, Yaswanth Pendyala, Eshwar Rachiraju, Trinadh Varma, Prasad Behara, Manikanta Parasu, Lokesh Kumar Parimi, Shyam Kalyan, Raghuvaran, Shiva Kumar Matta, Akshay Srinivas, Raadhya, Tejaswi Rao, Teena Sravya, Vishika, and Shanmukhi Nagumanthri are its different actors.
As a producer, Niharika also awaits the release of ‘Bench Life’ on SonyLIV on September 12th. The web film stars Vaibhav, Ritika Singh, Aakanksha Singh, Rajendra Prasad and others. It is helmed by Manasa Sharma.
