Storyline
Vijayendra Vrusshabha (Mohanlal) is the mighty King of Trilinga and the sworn protector of the sacred Aatma Linga. When enemies attack the kingdom to seize the divine object, Vrusshabha retaliates fiercely. Amid the chaos, he accidentally kills a child, prompting the grieving mother to curse him. This curse follows Vijayendra into his next birth, shaping his destiny and forming the emotional backbone of the film.
Positives
The reincarnation concept and emotional angle are fresh on paper and hold some promise.
Mohanlal attempting a different emotional dynamic is noteworthy.
A sword-fight sequence in the second half involving Mohanlal is decently staged and briefly engaging.
The film is genuinely shot in Telugu, unlike many so-called bilingual projects, which deserves appreciation.
Negatives
Poor writing and an unstructured screenplay completely derail an otherwise interesting idea.
The narrative lacks conviction, flow, and emotional depth, making the film painfully boring.
Mohanlal, a legendary actor, is shockingly underutilized and made to look ineffective.
AI-driven visuals are poorly designed and distract rather than impress.
Weak dialogues, substandard production values, and a pointless love track worsen the experience.
Jeetendra’s cameo has no impact on the story.
Supporting actors Samarjit and Nayan Sarika are wasted in badly written roles.
Even with a short runtime of about 127 minutes, the film feels dragging and tiresome.
Technicalities
Visual effects, especially in the introductory horse-chase sequence, are unimpressive and set a negative tone early on.
Music and cinematography work in a couple of scenes but are largely inconsistent.
Overall technical execution falls well below expectations.
Director and writer Naandda Kishore fails to deliver a cohesive and compelling film, resulting in a major letdown.

Final Verdict
Overall, Vrusshabha is a forgettable reincarnation action drama that is difficult to sit through. With weak storytelling, poor technical execution, and overreliance on unimpressive AI visuals, the film collapses despite a promising idea. Except for a couple of moments in the second half, there’s little to hold the audience’s interest. Even Mohanlal’s presence cannot salvage this sinking ship. It’s best to skip this one and look for better alternatives this holiday season.
