Was the debut film as a director tense?
There is a tension of not knowing something that is believed in the film. Because it was my eight-year-old dream to become a director. I have been waiting for this day since forever. We are sure that the movie will entertain everyone.
What is your background?
Ours is Peddapuram in East Godavari district. Loved movies since childhood. That’s why I quit my job after completing my studies and entered the film industry. I also worked as a lightman and junior artist for opportunity. Seeing my talent in short films, Nirish gave me this opportunity as a director.
What kind of film is loud and clever?
It is a complete family entertainer. This is a movie with emotion, comedy and good music. The film has all the incidents that happen to a middle class boy in his normal life. What kind of incidents does Santosh, a boy who comes from the village to the city, face? What changes will happen in his life because of it? It is interesting. How did he get out of the situations he faced? I have shown how he saved his family in an emotional way in an entertaining way.
How is Saikumar’s role?
Surya Narayana will be seen in the role of a handloom worker. He hides love in his mind. This role is crucial in the film. Viraj will be seen in the role of father.
What is new in this film?
A unique point and emotion in this film connects every middle class boy. We have touched a point which has not been touched in any movie till now. The movie has the entertainment emotion that the audience wants. Everyone who has seen the movie leaves the theater smiling.
What is the justification for the title of Loud and Smart?
All the characters in the movie are fun. The audience is also happy while watching the movie. That’s why we gave that title.
