The makers of Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, moved the film’s release from May 30, 2025, to July 4, 2025. They made this decision after assessing the current India-Pakistan tensions. In an official statement, the team explained that the country’s atmosphere didn’t allow them to continue with promotions or celebrations.

They said they tried every possible way to stick to the original date, but they chose to delay the release out of respect for the situation. They believe this extra time will allow them to deliver Kingdom with the creative quality and impact they aim for. The team also thanked Dil Raju garu and Nithiin garu for supporting their decision. Coincidentally, Nithiin’s film Thammudu will now release on the same day, setting the stage for a box office showdown.
