Varun Tej & Naga Babu’s First-Ever On-Screen Collaboration Confirmed in ‘Bhari’

After more than a decade in the Telugu film industry, Varun Tej is finally set to share the screen with his father Naga Babu for the very first time. The exciting collaboration will happen in the upcoming sports drama Bhari, making it a special milestone for the Mega family.

Varun Tej made his acting debut with Mukunda in 2014 and has since worked in several successful films and multi-starrers, including F2 alongside Venkatesh. However, despite his long career, he has never appeared in a film with his father until now.

The actor confirmed the news during a Zoom interaction with fans in North America, calling it one of the most exciting experiences of his career. The announcement has already generated curiosity among Mega fans, who have long waited to see the father-son duo together on screen.

Adding another emotional layer to the project, Bhari is being produced by Niharika Konidela, making it the first film to bring her father Naga Babu and brother Varun Tej together in lead roles.

Naga Babu has portrayed fatherly characters to several leading heroes over the years, but Bhari marks the first time he will be seen sharing screen space with his own son, making the film even more special.

Directed by Yadu Vamsi, whose debut film Committee Kurrollu won the National Award for Best Telugu Film, Bhari is a rural sports drama centered around volleyball championships.
