Tejus Kancherla of ‘Hushaaru’ fame plays the lead man in ‘Uruku Patela’, whose Teaser was unveiled today (July 31st). ‘Get Urikified’, the film’s caption, can be made sense after the Teaser.
A lazy idler, he dreams of a wife with brains to match his ambition (which is nonexistent). His fantasy becomes reality, but with a terrifying twist: she is smarter, tougher, and scarier than he ever imagined.
‘Nannu pelli chesko. Neeku life istha’ becomes his calling card in the village. Despite repeated rejections and insults, he continues to be adamant. “An educated wife will elevate your status,” he says. Goparaju Ramana seems to be playing his onscreen dad. There could be a horror-comedy spin to the story.
