Toxic Trailer: Yash Unleashes a Dark, Violent Gangster Saga with a Powerful Father-Son Twist

The much-awaited trailer of Toxic, starring Yash, is finally here, and it promises a dark, intense and action-packed gangster drama. Clocking in at over four minutes, the trailer is considerably longer than the usual theatrical previews, giving audiences an extended look at the film’s massive world, characters and production scale.

The trailer opens with Yash’s character Raya alongside a child before introducing the key female characters played by Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria. As the trailer progresses, Raya’s ruthless and ambitious side comes to the forefront, hinting at a character deeply connected to the dangerous underworld.

The biggest surprise comes with the introduction of another version of Yash’s character, who is reportedly connected to Raya as his son. This brings an intriguing father-son conflict into the gangster narrative and suggests that the emotional core of Toxic could be as important as its action and violence.

Interestingly, despite its lengthy runtime, the trailer keeps the main plot largely under wraps. Instead, it concentrates on establishing the film’s dark atmosphere, larger-than-life characters, elaborate production design and high-octane action sequences.

Directed by Geethu Mohandas, Toxic is produced by Yash and KVN Productions. The film is set to arrive in theatres on August 26, 2026, and the trailer has already raised expectations for what looks to be one of Yash’s most ambitious films yet.
