‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ will remain my all-time favorite movie: Abhishek Agarwal

The much-awaited pan India project ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ is a crazy combination of mass maharaja Ravi Teja, director Vamsi Krishna and Abhishek Agarwal Arts Abhishek Agarwal. Presented by Tej Narayan Aggarwal and produced by Mayank Singhania, Nupur Sanon, and Gayatri Bharadwaj are the heroines in this film. With a gripping teaser, massive trailer, and chartbuster songs, Tiger already created huge buzz nationwide. Producer Abhishek Aggarwal shared the special features of ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ in a press conference in the background of the film’s grand release worldwide on Oct 20, 2023.

Q. The reason for thinking that ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ biopic should be shown across the country?

Biopics are generally done on leaders, athletes, and celebrities. But when you see the movie, you will understand why a biopic of a thief was made. Why did a man become a thief? What did he do after being a thief? There are reasons for all this. All these are in this biopic. Abhishek Agarwal Arts aims to tell content-based, untold stories. ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ is also a movie with powerful content.

Q. Did you get the permission of Nageswara Rao’s family members to make this biopic?

While making this story, director Vamsee contacted the Nageswara Rao family members, got to know the details, and took their permission.

Q. Are there three big movies coming out at the same time? How do you see this competition?

We have planned the release as before. It is natural that two or three big films will come out for the festival. We are very confident in our product and content. We also have faith in our audience. The movie will definitely be well-received. There is an excellent response in the North as well.

Q. Isn’t this a very big-budget film under your banner? Did you think it was a risk when you started?

Whatever the story needs, I will give it one hundred percent. Only then will the outcome be so amazing. I never compromise in filmmaking.

Q. You have already done Pan India films. This is director Vamsi’s first Pan India film. What instructions were given?

We make decisions that meet all. We have more of a brotherly relationship than a director-producer relationship. We went ahead with that relationship. I have said it many times before. He is not only the director but also the producer of this movie.

Q. Ravi Teja took a lot of hard work and risk for this movie, didn’t he?

Ravi Teja has given excellent support. He did a lot of hard work, he did all the action sequences. Even though his hand was injured, he supported the production a lot and did the shooting without any problem.

‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ will remain my all-time favorite movie. This journey is very different and memorable. We made this movie with the collective effort to bring a good product.

Q. Is Anupam Kher sentimental to you?

Anupam Kher is our lucky charm. I am treated like a child. Tells lies. If asked to do any role, he would do it without another word. I feel it is a great honor to have so much faith in me.

Q. How is the role of Renu Desai?

Renu Desai’s character is unforgettable. The audience will see Renu Desai 2.0.

Q. Didn’t they advertise very loudly in Hindi too?

‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ is our dream project. From the beginning, we have paid special attention to the promotion of this film. The first look in Telugu was launched in a grand manner in Rajahmundry. Later we launched the trailer in North. We have done everything for our dream project and there is an excellent response from the North as well.

Q. About Jeeves Prakash’s music?

Jeeves Prakash took special care of this project. Audiences enjoy the background music in the theatre. Also, all the technicians of this film worked very hard. The art direction by Avinash Kolla is excellent. This movie is loved by everyone. That’s why it got such a wonderful outcome.

Q. How did it feel to receive the National Award?

There were tears of joy. Receiving a national award as a producer in the last three years has brought great honor to our company. What more should the producer, the audience, ask from God?

Q. You started the journey of solo films. Will your journey be like this?

The project will be as it is. We are announcing another biopic soon. This will also be a surprise.
