Struggling through adversities, the native of Vijayanagaram, Sreesaikumar, has transformed into a dedicated cinematographer. Since childhood, he had a passion for capturing the beauty of nature, a love that remained unfulfilled during his early years due to the separation from his maternal grandparents. However, his persistent efforts to grasp the nuances of cinematography and his knack for revealing the beauty of the surroundings through the lens have made him stand out.
Refusing to be bogged down by challenges, Sreesaikumar ventured into the world of cinematography with a short film, “Nageshwararavu Devarakonda.” This marked a turning point in his career, showcasing his talents to the industry. Subsequently, under the guidance of his mentor, Devaraju Daggubati, he contributed as an assistant cinematographer for the film “Eedu Gold Ehe.” Following this, he worked with Ratnavelu for movies like “Rangasthalam” and “Sye Ra.”
However, his journey didn’t stop there. Seeking further expertise, Sreesaikumar pursued specialized training at the Mindscreen Film Institute under the renowned cinematographer Rajeev Menon. Empowered with this education, he demonstrated his skills in the cinematography of the film “The Trail,” which has now been unveiled. Sreesaikumar’s name is gaining special attention for its ability to captivate audiences with his cinematography.
Presently, he is undertaking the responsibilities of the cinematographer for the film “Avika Gor – Nandu,” titled “Ugly Story,” directed by Subrahmanyam Pichuk. His relentless pursuit of perfection and his continuous learning are shaping him into a prominent figure in the cinematography field. Notably, Sree Sai Kumar remains grateful for the unwavering support from the renowned filmmakers Nandu, Devaraju Daggubati, Ratnavelu, and his teacher Rajeev Menon. With the release of “Ugly Story,” Sreesaikumar hopes to continue making a mark in the industry, showcasing his talent on the big screen.
