The commencement of the game has been declared, and according to Geetanand, the star of the movie “Game On,” the audience holds the key to victory. Starring Geetanand and Neha Solanki, the film boasts senior actors Madhubala, Aditya Menon, and Subhalekha Sudhakar in pivotal roles. Produced by Ravi Kasturi under the banners of Kasturi Creations and Golden Wing Productions, with direction by Dayanand, “Game On” is scheduled for a grand release on February 2, 2024. The trailer launch event took place at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad recently.
Ravi Kasturi, the producer, expressed, “This is my first project, and I will be in Australia. Geetanand is my classmate, and we always dreamed of making a film. We embarked on this journey with a compelling story and ensured that we didn’t compromise on quality at any stage. ‘Game On’ promises to be an engaging film with captivating songs by Nawab Gangs. It offers a narrative that has not been explored on the Telugu screen before.”
Director Dayanand added, “I approached the commercial script with a raw and rustic touch, directing the movie as a fan of Puri Jagannath. All characters in the film have shades of gray, each with a specific priority. ‘Game On’ delves into a real-time psychological game involving a man seeking a different life. The movie explores why this particular game was chosen and who the players are. It’s not a conventional family entertainer; rather, it delves into dark family emotions, providing a unique experience for the audience.”
Aditya Menon shared, “Supporting newcomers who bring new stories is essential for the industry’s growth. Dayanand has crafted a different concept, deviating from the usual.”
Neha Solanki remarked, “This role is unlike any I’ve done before, and I hope for the audience’s support.”
Geetanand revealed, “The trailer only shows 10% of the film. We extensively researched and blended a compelling concept with commercial elements. ‘Game On’ is a high-octane action drama where a marketing executive in a gaming company, fed up with life, gets entangled in a game. Featuring Madhubala and Aditya Menon, the film has elevated to the next level. We’ve initiated the game, and it’s now up to the audience to emerge victorious. Post this film, my younger brother Dayanand will gain recognition as an action director, and I aspire to be recognized as an actor who worked diligently for this project.”
The event was attended by actor Kiriti, cinematographer Arvind Vishwanath, Nawab Gang, Ashwin Arun, and music director Abhishek AR, among others.
The film also features an ensemble cast, including Madhubala, Vasanthi, Kiriti, Shubhalekha Sudhakar, and others. The technical team includes Abhishek AR as the music director, Nawab Gang and Ashwin – Arun for the songs, Arvind Viswanathan as the cinematographer, Vijay Kumar CH as the script supervisor, Vamsi Atluri and Arth Vithal as the editors, and Ramakrishna for action choreography. The film is styled by Dayanand, with PR managed by GK Media, choreography by Moin, and production by Ravi Kasturi. Dayanand handles the story, screenplay, dialogues, and direction.
