With ‘Rocketry’ Winning the Best Feature Film, ‘RRR’ is the Best popular film providing wholesome entertainment directed by S S Rajamouli. ‘Allu Arjun’ and ‘Devi Sri Prasad’ won Best Actor and Best Music Director (songs) for the movie Pushpa respectively directed by Sukumar.
The Best Regional films for Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada are Uppena, Kadaisi Vivasayi, Home, and 777 Charlie respectively. The Best Lyrics was won by Mr.Chandrabose for the film Konda Polam’s ‘Dham Dham Dham’.
Interestingly to everyone’s surprise ‘Vaishnav Tej’ is the cousin of ‘Allu Arjun’ who acted in both the films ‘Uppena’, and ‘Kondapolam’ directed by Buchibabu Sana and Jagarlamudi Radhakrishna respectively. Uppena director Buchibabu Sana worked as Assistant Director for ‘Puspha, the Rule’ movie director Sukumar.
It’s an amazing incident that like a master, like a student has come true and it is very positive for the Telugu industry bragging awards at the National level.
