The much-anticipated action cult film, “Revu,” delves into the lives of fishermen, where the aspiration for supremacy often leads to conflicts, big and small. Director Harinath Pulichar, portraying the struggle for dominance over sea fisheries, received warm congratulations from renowned actor and producer Murali Mohan. A. R. Murali Mohan graciously revealed the teaser and poster for ‘Revu,’ a collaborative production of the film team and Vijaya Talkies.
Expressing appreciation for the Revu unit, Murali Mohan stated, “Revu is a film that authentically captures the life of fishermen dependent on fishing for their livelihood. Director Harinath approached this film with a realistic perspective, encompassing aspects like action, sentiment, filmmaking style, and locations exceptionally well. This passionate project, crafted by a team of newcomers, deserves promotion. Hence, I agreed to release the poster and teaser for Revu when approached by senior journalist Prabhu, who has been a staunch supporter. I extend my congratulations and blessings to the entire Revu unit, anticipating the success of this soon-to-be-released film.”
Director Harinath Puli shared his thoughts, saying, “Revu is a cult film that delves into the ebb and flow of fishermen’s lives. We are grateful to Mr. Murali Mohan, a senior journalist who has supported us wholeheartedly. He appreciated and blessed our effort, releasing the poster and teaser after recognizing the substance of our film. We have completed post-production and are set with the first copy. We plan to release ‘Revu’ in the first week of February.”
The film features a cast of new talents, with Vamsi Ram as the hero, Swathi Bheem Reddy as the heroine, along with Haribabu Epuri, Antony Ajay, Hemant Udbhav, Vishwanathan, Leela Venkatesh Komuri, Guruthej, Sweety, and others in prominent roles. The renowned comic actor, writer, and director LB Sriram also makes a guest appearance. The film boasts a talented crew, including John K Joseph for the songs, Imran Shastri as the lyricist, Vizag Muralidharan for background score, Vinod for choreography, Revanth Sagar for cinematography, Siva Sarvani and Sasikiran Thummati as editors, Basha for art, and Srihari Suresh for VFX.
“Revu” is a creation of Harinath Puli, serving as both the writer and director of the film.
