Sumanth’s upcoming film, produced by Rajashyama Entertainments, has been officially titled “Mahendragiri Varahi,” a declaration made in the presence of Swaroopanandendra Swami from Visakha Sarada Peetham. The film’s cast, including Sumanth and Meenakshi, along with director Jagarlapudi Santhosh and producers Kalipu Madhu, M Subbareddy, and others, participated in a special pooja at the Rajashyamala Ammavari temple in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.
During their visit, the team engaged in discussions with Swatmanandendra Swamy about the correlation between Goddess Varahi and Goddess Rajshyamala. Director Jagarlapudi Santhosh shared insights into the film’s premise, stating that “Mahendragiri Varahi” would center around the goddess Varahi in Mahendragiri. The entire film crew sought and received the divine blessings of Swaroopanandendra Swamy during their visit.
Highlighting the production details, Jagarlapudi Santhosh mentioned that the film is being produced under the Rajashyamala Entertainments banner, and the shooting, initiated in June of the current year, is nearing completion. The director informed that he provided a synopsis of the story to Swaroopanandendra Swami, who blessed the project.
Producers Kalipu Madhu and M Subbareddy expressed that “Mahendragiri Varahi” marks the second venture under the Rajashyamala Entertainments banner. They conveyed their intention to revisit Sarada Peetham upon the film’s success, indicating a commitment to returning to the sacred place after achieving triumph with their cinematic endeavor.
