The much-awaited Telugu mythological film Kannappa has been making waves in the film industry. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Collection King Dr. M. Mohan Babu, the movie is one of Tollywood’s most ambitious projects.

The makers of Kannappa have announced a major update. The film’s first song, Shiva Shiva Shankaraa, will be released on February 10 in Bengaluru. The song will be unveiled by spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The official handle of Kannappa The Movie shared the news, promising a divine musical experience.
The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, making it a Pan-India project.
Audio Rights Acquired by T-Series
In another exciting update, the prestigious music label T-Series has acquired the film’s audio rights. The soundtrack is expected to be grand, given the scale of the project.
The makers have also confirmed that Kannappa will be released on a massive scale across India on April 25, 2025.
Star-Studded Cast
Vishnu Manchu plays the lead role of Kannappa, a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. The film features several big names, making it even more special.
Prabhas will appear in an extended cameo as Rudra. Akshay Kumar and Mohanlal will have key roles. Kajal Aggarwal, Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and Tamannaah Bhatia are also part of the cast.
The presence of Pan-India stars like Prabhas and Akshay Kumar has raised expectations even higher.
Prabhas’ First Look as Rudra
The first look of Prabhas as Rudra was recently revealed, creating huge excitement among fans. Prabhas shared his look on Instagram, calling Rudra “The Divine Guardian” and “an unwavering protector.”
Before this, on January 27, the makers had released a pre-glimpse of Prabhas’ look, teasing a full reveal on February 3.
