Prabhas’ much-awaited project Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has finally locked its theatrical release date. For the past few days, there were strong speculations that the film was eyeing a Sankranthi 2027 release. However, the makers have surprised fans by officially announcing a different and strategic release window.

The high-voltage cop action drama is set to hit cinemas worldwide on March 5, 2027, aligning with the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri. With Eid also falling in the film’s opening week, the makers have chosen an ideal festive window that promises strong box office potential. Opting for a solo release instead of the crowded Sankranthi season further highlights the team’s smart planning.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga, Spirit is a pan-Indian film featuring Triptii Dimri, Prakash Raj, Vivek Oberoi, and Kanchana in key roles. The film’s background score will be composed by Harshavardhan Rameswar. With a powerful combination of Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, expectations are sky-high for this ambitious project.
