MAA AAI Productions is producing the movie ‘Shastipoorthi’ with Rupesh as the protagonist. Rajendra Prasad and Archana are the main characters. 37 years after the release of the classic film ‘Ladies Tailor’, this is the film where they are acting together. Akanksha Singh is the heroine. Pawan Prabha is the director. Produced by Rupesh Chaudhary. The shooting of the movie is 80 percent complete. The first look poster of this movie has been released by the famous director Anil Ravipudi. He said that the look is very good, although this is director Pawan Prabha’s first film, the design is well done and he wished the film to be a great success.
On this occasion, film director Pawan Prabha said, “No child can see their parents’ wedding. God provided an opportunity to make up for that deficiency through Shastipurthi. The film is being made in that background. Some talky, important action scenes are balanced. Our hero Rupesh is taking special training for that action scene. After ‘Ladies Tailor’, this is the movie where Rajendra Prasad and Archana are acting together. Both of them are seen in different ages. We also shot a retro episode on them. Both of them are the same as they were 30 years ago. We took it in Thathapudi near Yanam. There are a total of 80 locations in the movie. Most of the shooting was done in the surrounding areas of Rajahmundry. We have shot in the heart of Godavari, where the beauty is revealed. There are five songs in the film. One song was shot in Ramoji Film City with a huge set. The rest of the songs were shot in Godavari region. The film will have a good musical journey. So, we took Isaignani Ilayaraja. We believe that he will do justice to unleash strong emotions.
The film’s hero and producer Rupesh said, “The film is being made in the background of family bonds and values. Acting with senior heroes like Rajendra Prasad and Archana is a learning process and a blessing! As soon as we heard the story, we decided to build it in our company. Our effort is to provide good cinema to the audience without compromising on high technical values. We worked hard for a year to make the film with great people like legendary music director Ilayaraja and art director Thota Tarani. I am happy to be a part of a film with a good story and to be producing it. 80 percent shooting has been completed. We are making preparations to start the new schedule soon,” he said.
