Monikers are sought-after in Telugu cinema. Sometimes, even actors with just a handful of films get hold of some or the other moniker. Natural Star Nani, THE Vijay Deverakonda, Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej, Nitro Star Sudheer Babu, and many more have been given to actors in the last ten years or so.
Sharwanand, despite hits like ‘Run Raja Run’, ‘Shatamanam Bhavathi’ and ‘Express Raja’, hasn’t had any. Not anymore. He will now be termed the ‘Charming Star’.
The moniker was given publicly by happening Tollywood producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory two days ahead of the release of their movie, ‘Manamey’.
‘Manamey’ is arriving at the cinemas on June 7th (Friday). It stars Krithi Shetty as the heroine.
