Actress Rukmini Vasanth has joined hands with Oke Oka Jeevitham director Shree Karthick for an intriguing new project. The yet-to-be-titled film features Rukmini in a character named Tara, alongside actors Dev Ramnath and Vinayak Vaithianathan.
The makers announced the collaboration through a special video featuring Shree Karthick and the two actors discussing the challenges of finalising the name Tara. The video builds curiosity around the character before revealing Rukmini Vasanth as the actress playing the role.
The announcement has generated interest in the project, particularly among audiences familiar with Shree Karthick’s previous work. However, the makers have yet to reveal the film’s official title or further details about its storyline.
The film is backed by Siruni Cine Corporation, Madboys Entertainment and co-producer Saikrishna Gadwal. Siruni Cine Corporation previously produced Chi La Sow, while Madboys Entertainment has been associated with the Tamil web series I Hate You I Love You and the short film Childhood Diaries.
Shree Karthick made a mark with Oke Oka Jeevitham, released in Tamil as Kanam. The film blended the concept of time travel with an emotional mother-son story, earning appreciation for its sentimental narrative.
With Rukmini Vasanth now on board, expectations are building around the director’s next venture. The makers are expected to announce the film’s title soon, along with more details about the cast and story.
