‘RTI’ is the title of a murder mystery and courtroom drama whose story revolves around the ‘suicide’ of a 16-year-old girl named Maya. Two virtuous lawyers, played by Rajendra Prasad and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, fight it out with the system (whose dark side is represented by Ravi Shankar’s lawyer character) in this seemingly promising thriller drama.
Directed by Suresh Krissna, the film also features Sashank and Harsh Rohan. “A handicapped lawyer and her father are on a mission to fight cases related to a suicide that opens the famous Right To Information Act and stumbles upon a larger conspiracy later on,” ETV Win, which is streaming the movie, said.
Rajendra Prasad and Varalaxmi are seen as the father-daughter duo. Maya, the dead girl, faces slut-shaming and worse even as their distraught parents are desperate to know the truth.
ETV Win is also making ‘Leela Vinodham’ with Shanmukh Jaswanth in the lead. Goparaju Ramana, Aamani, and Rupa Lakshmi, each of whom is a movie artist, are playing important roles. Its release date is yet to be announced. The OTT platform is going to stream ‘Sopathulu’ from September 19th.
