Robinhood: Nithiin-Sreeleela Starrer Set to Clash with Pawan Kalyan’s Film

The Telugu film Robinhood, starring Nithiin and Sreeleela, has a new release date. Initially planned for a Christmas 2024 release, the movie was postponed due to unforeseen reasons. Speculation arose that it might release during Sankranthi, but the festival season’s packed schedule led to further delays. The makers have now confirmed that Robinhood will hit theatres on March 28, 2025, creating buzz among fans.

Potential Box Office Clash with Pawan Kalyan

This announcement has raised eyebrows because Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, is also scheduled to release on the same day. Nithiin, known for being a devoted fan of Pawan Kalyan, is unlikely to prefer such a box office clash. This has led to speculation that Hari Hara Veera Mallu might be postponed.

Storyline and Cast Details

Directed and written by Venky Kudumula, who previously helmed hits like Chalo (2018) and Bheeshma (2020), Robinhood promises to be an entertaining heist comedy. The film follows the story of a vigilante thief who robs the rich to protect the nation.

This movie marks the second collaboration between Nithiin and Sreeleela after their 2023 release, Extraordinary Man. GV Prakash Kumar, who is composing the music, has already garnered attention with the film’s first single, ‘One More Time,’ which received over 7 million views on YouTube.

Produced under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, the film boasts a strong technical crew. Sai Sriram handles cinematography, and Koti is in charge of editing.
