Ravi Teja’s PR team on Friday (August 23rd) informed that the actor underwent a surgery at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad on Thursday following a muscle tear that deteriorated because he didn’t allow himself the needed rest. He persisted with his shooting schedule despite the injury.
Official statement:
“Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja recently sustained a muscle tear in his right hand during the filming of #RT75. Despite the injury, he continued to shoot, which unfortunately led to further aggravation. He underwent a successful surgery at Yashoda Hospitals and as per medical advice, he has been prescribed six weeks of bed rest to ensure a complete recovery.”

The ‘Mr. Bachchan’ actor was shooting for his 75th movie, which stars his ‘Dhamaka’ co-star Sreeleela as the heroine. Writer-turned-director Bhanu Bogavarapu is its helmer. Since Sithara Entertainments is bankrolling it, its quality is expected to be high. Ravi Teja’s fans are hoping that he will make a comeback with this one.
