Rashmika Mandanna had Baby (2023) director Sai Rajesh in praises for his direction and dedication’. She also revealed that she would like to work with him in the future.
“You are the one director I want to work with one day”, said Rashmika Mandanna in the Pre Release Event of Gam Gam Ganesha (2024). She added, “I loved your direction, I loved your dedication. The movie made me cry. As an actor it made me curious and wanted to work with you.”
Baby, starring Vijay Devarakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, received a lot of feministic criticism for its portrayal of women, especially the character Vaishnavi, played by Vaishnavi Chaitanya. Coincidentally, Rashmika starrer Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal too received significant amount of criticism from a lot of critics for its violence and ‘misogyny’.
