He bought it during his early years as a dance master, turned it into an orphanage, and later moved his family into a rented house. Now that his children have grown up, he proudly gave the house a new purpose, to teach and nurture children at no cost.

Lawrence added a meaningful touch by appointing the first teacher from among the children who grew up under his charitable foundation Maatram.
