Raj Tarun’s career has hit a rough patch for years. There was a time when the ‘Uyyala Jampala’ actor looked to have so much potential. A series of flops ruined that potential.
But now, finally, he has a hope in the form of ‘Purushothamudu’. Prima facie, the film might look dated because of the title but its teaser looks good. Raj Tarun is trying his hand at delivering a family-friendly film (which we hope is not outdated) after burning his fingers with films like ‘Anubhavinchu Raja’.
The film, directed by three-time filmmaker Ram Bhimana, is going to be a June 6th release. Also featuring Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishna in key roles, it marks the return of Brahmanandam. ‘Family Star’ composer Gopi Sunder and cinematographer PG Vinda have worked on the movie, which is based on true events.
This film has the potential to undo the reverses experienced by Raj Tarun’s sagging career. Let’s hope for the best for him!
